STUDIO POLICIES

I agree that my dancer will be fitted, during the 2nd-4th week of dance, for costumes that will be worn for the recital.

I agree to pay $45.00-$95.00 per costume/per class for my dancer’s recital costumes. All KBDC Elite costumes will have separate costs.

I agree that all costumes ordered through K&B Dance Company are the property of K&B Dance Company until they are paid for in full. Parents are responsible for any damage incurred by a parent or dancer to any costumes before they are released to the dancers. Costumes will not be disbursed to a dancer until they are fully paid for.

COSTUME POLICY

SHOE POLICY

All shoes will be fitted to dancers by K&B Staff members and ordered 2-4 weeks into the dance season. Parents will not fill out order forms. This will be easier on parents, teachers and office staff. Payments for shoes will be attached to the second month bill and due before they can be disbursed to dancers and/or parents.

If your dancer already owns the correct color shoes then no further action is needed!

REQUIRED shoe types and colors for each class:

Butterfly Tap: Tan Buckle Tap Shoes

Recreational 5+ Tap: Tan Lace Up Tap Shoes

Jazz: Tan Jazz Shoes

Ballet: Pink Ballet Shoes

Lyrical: Tan Half Soles

Hip Hop: Mostly Black Tennis Shoes

Acro: Bare Feet - No Shoes

Cheer: White Tennis Shoes

TUITION POLICY

Tuition is one yearly fee that is broken up into 10 equal monthly payments. Monthly tuition is posted on the 1st & due on the 15th each month. There is NO DISCOUNT for missed lessons. Tuition and costume deposits are non-refundable. A $35.00 charge will be imposed on checks returned from the bank. A late fee will be applied to your account on the 15th of each month and again on the 25th, if tuition fees are not paid for in full.

I agree that all payments must be up to date and balance paid in full in order for my student to receive apparel or merchandise, or before participating in class, any special event, showcase, recital, or competition. Dancers will be asked to sit out from class once their balance gets farther than one month behind.

There will be a 2.7% processing fee added to any online or credit card payment that is made.

PHOTO POLICY

Photos may be taken during a dancers class to be used for promotional purposes such as Instagram, Facebook, KBDC Webpage and MORE. Please understand that families can opt out of this and can choose not to participate.

Families will not be compensated for the use of these photos in any way.

We ask that parents and dancers within other families do not take photos/post photos of others without their consent.

APPAREL POLICY

Dancers and parents are not to be printing their own K&B apparel.

K&B apparel logos are the property of K&B under common trademark law. Please respect K&B Dance Company’s apparel, logos, and designs. We ask that dancers do not recreate our deigns or include our name on their own apparel.

If dancers are seen wearing hand-made apparel with K&B on it, it will be confiscated. This goes for parents as well.

CLASSROOM POLICIES

Class dates/times are subject to change given registration and class numbers.

Please no food, drink, or outdoor shoes in the dance rooms (Studio 1, Studio 2, Studio 3).

We are all welcoming and respectful of everyone. We are at dance class to HAVE FUN!
